Hoi allemaal,
Goed dat jullie het congres volgen!
Mijn Engels is niet meer wat het geweest is en ik kan het niet goed volgen, helaas. Denken jullie dat er nog ook iemand kan zijn om een korte Nederlandse samenvatting te maken voor ons die het Engels niet goed kunnen volgen?
Want ik ben natuurlijk ook erg nieuwsgierig wat er allemaal wordt besproken. Ik geloof dat de Nederlandse ME-vriendelijke Dr. V. ook bij het Congres aanwezig is, misschien kan hij ons later ook het een en ander hier vertellen? Wie weet!

Mikovits asserts WPI picked the wrong sample to analyse and other samples will show other HGRV's are present in CFS.
When asked to explain the electron microscope (?) pictures of the virus Coffin says they could have been of something else.
Hanson's further studies suggest XMRVlike sequences are due to contamination but she does get an antibody response - suggesting retrovirus
Suggesting retrovirus could be present and that the antibody test could be a case of reactivation. She urges that work continue.

Ik ga ervan blozen..
Zo helpen we elkaar weer, toch? Want ik ben ook erg benieuwd wat er in Ottawa allemaal wordt besproken. Mijn Engels is niet meer fantastico en dan kunnen we in ieder geval al iets lezen in het Nederlands en hoe een Nederlandse ME-vriendelijke arts zijn ervaringen zijn.

Dat willen we zeker!Yep, wij willen het naadje van de ME-kous weten, toch ?
En ik kan dat (medische) engels ook vaak niet goed volgen.
Ik heb (volgens mij, alhoewel Dr Visser zegt van wel) nog geen officiele diagnose.
Ik ben vooral ook erg benieuwd of Dr Vermeulen daar hoort over eventuele nieuwe testen enz., die dan weer door hem en Dr Visser gedaan kunnen worden om mogelijk (nog) meer duidelijkheid te krijgen.
Oké, ik zal mijn best doen.en niet meer blozen
